Mark Nephi Rice, age 64, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Marysville, California, on April 6, 1960, to David Lee Rice and Lorna May (Foster) Rice.
He worked as a truck driver. Mark loved hunting and fishing but loved nothing more than his family. His children and grandchildren were his world.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Rice.
He is survived by his wife, Suzette (Terry) Rice; mother, Lorna May (Foster) Rice; daughters, Melissa Spencer, Christine Averette, Erika Rice, Jessica Moore (Ethan Thompson), and Crystal Rice; brothers, David Rice (Phyllis), James Rice (Sarah), and Paul Rice (Melanie); grandchildren, Aleecia Greene, Landon Greene, Adam Roberts, Kya Blair, Zayden Averette, Jaylinn Thompson, Eli Thompson, Rydel Videl, and Lydia Videl; nieces and nephews, Destiny Lee (Brendan), Joshua Swank (Ariel), Kayla Bartell (Michael Wright), Raschell Richardson, Allan Rice (Nicole Barry) and Cearra Rice.
Funeral service will be at 3 pm Friday, July 12, 2024, at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City, Tennessee, with Brother Dwayne James officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be the same day from 1 pm until the service hour of 3 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Roberts, Edward Haymore, Ethan Thompson, Michael Wright, Steven Warren, and Terry Krantz. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Rice, James Rice, and Paul Rice.
