Effective immediately and until further notice, the Ashland City Fire Department (ACFD) will not issue any burn permits. Additionally, any current burn permits recently issued by ACFD are no longer valid.
Until the next significant rainfall, any open burning is extremely dangerous and may cause fire to grow out of control rapidly.
