As the community joins together during this holiday season to share food and gifts with family and friends, there will be those who will not experience the same joy. There are many in need. The list of organizations below is just a sample of non-profits who can use the spirit of giving this holiday season. These organizations help those in need – including those who are experiencing food insecurity, substandard housing, homelessness, educational inequality, abuse, infirmities due to age, and caring for stray animals.
This is a small list of the organizations in the community who are there to help those less fortunate, however, these groups cover many of the deep needs within the community. They ask those with the resources to consider giving to one of them or their church or other organization dear to an individual donor’s heart during this season of peace and love.
