Two Cheatham County High Schools to Present Plays This Weekend

Two Cheatham County high schools are gearing up to showcase their theatrical talents this weekend with exciting stage productions that promise entertainment for the whole family.

Cheatham County Central High School will present “Americana: The Stories of O. Henry,” a collection of heartfelt and humorous tales by the classic American author. Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 15, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 16, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or online through GoFan.

Meanwhile, Harpeth High School invites audiences to channel their inner detectives with a production of “Clue,” based on the iconic board game. Directed by new HHS theater teacher Jamie Emery, the show will run on Thursday, November 14, at 7 p.m., as well as Friday, November 15, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 16, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

Students from both schools have been hard at work preparing these productions, showcasing their creativity and dedication. Whether you’re drawn to the timeless charm of O. Henry’s stories or the mystery and humor of Clue, this weekend’s performances are sure to entertain.
