A Severe Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for Cheatham County and all of Middle Tennessee until noon CST Tuesday, following a Cold Weather Advisory that lasts until 6 PM CST this evening. Residents should be prepared for dangerously cold wind chills as low as 11 degrees below zero.
As of 1:45 PM, conditions in Cheatham County are mainly clear with a temperature of 15.6°F and winds from the northwest at 10.2 mph. No precipitation has been recorded today.
For the remainder of the day, temperatures are expected to peak at approximately 16.2°F. Skies will remain overcast and the wind is forecasted to continue at speeds up to 10.6 mph. There is no precipitation expected today.
