The town of Ashland City officially broke ground on their new City Hall last week.
The new City Hall, which has been in the works for several years, is being built next to CEMC on North Main Street.
Ashland City Mayor J.T. Smith and Ashland City Council members and employees were joined by architect Josh Wright and representatives from the USDA, Tennessee Municipal Bond League and Solomon Builders, the contractor on the new City Hall, for the groundbreaking.
The ceremony was held immediately following the ribbon cutting on the new Fire Station 1.
