Ashland City firefighters helped bring a young adventurer safely back to the ground after the child became stuck high in a tree Monday.
The department’s B-shift crew responded to the call after what started as a fun climb turned into a situation where the child could not find a safe way back down. Firefighters secured the area and used a ladder to reach the child.
After offering reassurance, the crew helped the child safely return to the ground without any injuries. Fire officials said the incident ended with smiles and reminded families that while climbing trees can be fun, it’s important to always have a safe way to get back down.
