The Ashland City Police Department is offering free Christmas presents to families who may need extra help this holiday season.
Police officials say they received a generous donation of gifts intended for children and are making them available to anyone in the community who could benefit. Families can pick up the donated presents at the police department Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Those who need assistance after regular business hours are encouraged to contact the department to make arrangements.
Police officials said the effort is aimed at ensuring children in the community have a brighter holiday season.
