Ashland City officials have announced the grand opening of a brand-new City Hall, scheduled to open its doors on Tuesday, July 1. The new facility is located at 405 North Main Street, right next to Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation.
In preparation for the move, the current City Hall on Tennessee Waltz Parkway will be closed on Monday, June 30. Although services will be unavailable to the public that day, all departments and employees will be working to ensure a smooth transition into the new building.
Starting July 1, the new City Hall will serve as the central location for a range of city services, including administration, municipal court, building and codes, technology, and finance. Residents can visit the new location to pay water and sewer bills, handle court-related matters, and apply for permits.
The new facility will also house municipal court proceedings and public meetings, including Ashland City Council sessions.
The police, public works, and parks departments will remain at their current address at 233 Tennessee Waltz Parkway.
City leaders say the new City Hall represents a significant step forward in improving service delivery and strengthening the connection between city government and the community.
