On Monday, fire crews responded to a brush fire that grew to approximately 30 acres in the Bearwallow Road community after winds reignited a controlled burn.
The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department and Pegram Fire Department dispatched brush trucks and personnel to combat the flames. The Tennessee Department of Forestry also provided assistance with a bulldozer to help contain the fire.
Authorities have not reported any injuries or damage to structures. Fire officials are continuing to monitor the area to prevent further flare-ups.
