The Cheatham County School District was represented this year at the 2024 National Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Conference in Portland, Oregon.
Ashland City Elementary STEM Academy principal Dr. Melinda Broyles, academic specialist Nicole Klingmann and STEM teacher Riann Price attended several engaging sessions learning about the latest developments in education – from the local school, district, state, and federal level.
The National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators (formerly the National Title I Association) is dedicated to building the capacity of education professionals to provide disadvantaged children with a high-quality education.
The conference emphasizes the critical nature of doing what’s right and what’s needed today to help every child succeed and achieve at high levels.
