The Cheatham County community is mourning the loss of, Tashia Biggs, a 30-year-old deputy, WKRN reports.
According to the Cheatham County Funeral Home, Biggs died on July 30.
Born in Nashville, Biggss was an Ashland City native who attended Cheatham County Central High School. She later joined the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy and became a School Resource Officer at Pleasant View Elementary School.
Visitation will be at Cheatham County Funeral Home on Friday, August 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the service.
Burial will follow at Newland Family Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
