Three Cheatham County senior football players were honored tonight by the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame.
The players – Patrick Kelly of Cheatham County Central High School, Eason Sewell of Harpeth High School and Brandon Pennington of Sycamore High School – received Scholar Athlete Awards at the chapter’s annual banquet.
The three were recognized for their combined accomplishments on the gridiron, academic excellence and community involvement.
They were selected by their football coaches.
