The Cheatham County School District is notifying families that bus Route 46 in South Cheatham County will be unable to operate on the afternoon of Monday, October 6, 2025, and all day Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The district says a temporary shortage of drivers is the cause of the disruption and asks parents to arrange alternate transportation for their children on those dates. Regular service for Route 46 is expected to resume on Thursday, October 9.
The district’s mass notification system is currently unavailable, but affected families will receive updates once it is restored.
