The Cheatham County School District is excited to announce that Nicole Galbreth will serve as the new principal at Pleasant View Elementary School beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.

Galbreth will replace Jason Pierschbacher, who will begin serving as the new Cheatham Middle School principal next school year.

Galbreth has served as the PVES assistant principal since 2021. Previously, she was the school’s academic specialist for six years.

Galbreth received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Austin Peay State University and both a master’s degree in teaching K-6 and master’s degree in educational administration K-12 from Cumberland University.

She was a member of the district’s Aspiring Administrators Academy in 2016 and 2020. Before taking on the role of academic specialist at PVES, she taught kindergarten, first grade and third grade at East Cheatham Elementary School.

“I am incredibly honored to be stepping into the role of principal of Pleasant View Elementary School. I am excited to continue the incredible work of our teachers and staff and have a front seat for all of our students’ successes,” she said.

Galbreth will begin her new duties as principal on July 1. A search for the new PVES assistant principal is currently underway.
