The Cheatham County School District’s mobile Book/STEAM Bus continues its tour around the county this week.
The bus will be at Harpeth Middle School on Wednesday, June 21 and Riverbluff Park on Thursday, June 22 from 9am to noon on both days. Due to the weather, the bus had to cancel its activities scheduled for June 20.
This week’s theme is “Flight Week.” Previous themes have included “Community Heroes” and “Ag Week”.
Throughout the month of June, the bus will visit schools, parks and businesses. Local organizations provide free learning activities for students and students can receive free books. There will also be free sack lunches (40 per day).
The bus began its summer tour on June 6th, visiting locations around the county each week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
