The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to help law enforcement by providing information that could lead to arrests, recovery of stolen property, and the prevention of criminal activity.
Officials say the Crime Tip Program allows community members to report illegal drug activity, help solve crimes, and assist in locating wanted fugitives while remaining completely anonymous. Anonymity is a key part of the program, and authorities stress that callers are never asked for their name.
Tips can be submitted by phone by calling 615-792-4341, extension 4. Sheriff’s Office officials say calls are not recorded and are kept confidential. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online through the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office website by selecting the “Submit an Anonymous Crime Tip” option.
When submitting a tip, residents are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible, including names, addresses, vehicle descriptions, photos, and information about suspected criminal activity.
The Sheriff’s Office says even small pieces of information can make a difference in keeping the community safe and encourages anyone with knowledge of criminal activity to come forward.
