A Sycamore High School teacher, Brandon Peters, was terminated last week after reports of an arrest, the Cheatham County School District confirmed to WSMV4.
According to the district, Peters was charged with public intoxication and possession of a Schedule VI drug, which includes marijuana, THC, or their equivalents. He was later released on bond.
Peters had joined the district just last year.
