A longtime Cheatham County educator is being recognized for his leadership in academic support across the district. Secondary Academic Coordinator Ryan Philipp has been named the Cheatham County School District’s Academic Supervisor of the Year.
Philipp has spent two decades serving Cheatham schools in a variety of roles. His career includes time as a teacher at Harpeth High School, followed by administrative positions at Cheatham Middle and Harpeth Middle. He also worked as an academic specialist at both Harpeth High and Cheatham County Central High School before stepping into his current role in July 2024.
With this honor, Philipp will advance to compete for Supervisor of the Year in the Tennessee Department of Education’s Mid-Cumberland region.
District leaders celebrated the announcement, noting Philipp’s continued dedication to supporting student success and strengthening academic programs.
