4. 2nd Annual Gilda’s Gang 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

On Saturday, April 2nd this 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run is in honor of Dr. Gail Addlestone. She helped raise over $1 million from 2006-2017.
Tickets are $35 and kids under 12 can participate for free.
5. Mule Day Parade

West 7th and Garden Street, Columbia
This event is free and takes place at the historic downtown in Columbia. Mule Day has be celebrated since 1840. On Saturday, April 2nd from 11 AM-12:30 PM there will be a parade, Appalachian music, food and crafts. Get the full schedule here.
