Cheatham Weekend: 5 Happenings This Weekend

Pegram UMC Fish Fry — The 12th annual Pegram United Methodist Church Fish Fry is 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Sat., Oct. 15, or until it sells out. After purchase, food will be picked up from the food truck in the parking lot.

Patrons can choose to eat at tables set up outside if the weather is good. Meals with one piece of fish cost $10; meals with two pieces of fish cost $12. Also included are hush puppies, baked potatoes, white beans, and coleslaw. Desserts are available for $2.

Additional pieces of fish may be available for purchase. Proceeds go to the PUMC Benevolence Fund.

The event starts at 4 PM and is hosted by John Hughes Jr. He will tell us all the history and facts on this artist/album and then we will sit back, relax and enjoy the record in its entirety. NO COVER, but purchase IS required at SHEYEGIRL COFFEE CO.

Montgomery Bell Park
1020 Jackson Hill Rd, Burns, TN

Join Ranger Eric for a golf cart tour of the Montgomery Bell Golf Course. Learn some of the history of the park as well as see some wildlife on the golf course from the convenience of the golf cart. All ages welcome. The cost of the event is $8.00 per person with a maximum capacity of each golf cart is two people. Registration is required for tour by the day before departure. Registration can be completed online, by calling the Park Office or at the Park Office in Person. No animals allowed on carts. All drivers must have a valid drivers license. Please contact Ranger Eric for any specific tour related questions. Tour goes on rain or shine.

For visitors that would like to add to their tour experience they can add a dinner package to the tour. Two Dinner packages are available

1. Hot Dog, bag of chips, and a soft drink

2. Hamburger, bag of chips, and a soft drink

For those individuals that register for the dinner package Ranger Eric will have the dinner packages ready at the Pro Shop one hour before the tour. Dinner package guests can join Ranger Eric for dinner out on the Pro Shop’s veranda and learn about upcoming park happenings.
