What the Chipotle Veterans Day Offer Includes
Eligible guests get one free regular-size order of chips and one dip. The chips can be Chipotle’s classic chips or the new Chili Lime Chips, and the dip options are guac, Queso Blanco or salsa. To qualify, the rest of the order has to total at least $5, not counting the free item, taxes or tips.
When and Where to Redeem Free Chips and Dip at Chipotle
The offer is good only on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, during regular business hours. It’s available in-restaurant at participating U.S. Chipotle locations and is subject to availability. The deal doesn’t apply to mobile, online, delivery or catering orders, so ordering through the Chipotle app or website won’t work for this one.
Accepted Military and Veteran ID for the Chipotle Deal
Active-duty U.S. service members and veterans need to show valid proof of status at checkout. Chipotle accepts these forms of identification:
- Valid military ID
- VA-issued veteran ID or health ID
- State-issued ID with a Veteran designation
- Discharge paperwork
Only the service member or veteran presenting the ID can redeem the offer. Military spouses and family members can’t claim it on their own.
The Veterans Day Offer Is Not a Free Entrée or BOGO Deal
Unlike some past Veterans Day promotions, Chipotle’s 2026 offer isn’t a free entrée, a buy-one-get-one entrée or a percentage discount. It’s specifically free chips and dip with a $5 purchase. Purchased items still earn Chipotle Rewards points, but the offer can’t be combined with other coupons, promotions or special offers.
Chipotle Round Up for Real Change Supports the USO November 9-15
Chipotle is also partnering with the United Service Organizations (USO) through its Round Up for Real Change program. From Monday, November 9 through Sunday, November 15, guests can round up their order total to the next dollar, with the extra going to the USO. The USO serves active-duty service members and military families. Since Chipotle launched Round Up for Real Change in 2020, guests have raised more than $26 million for nonprofit organizations.
Chipotle Veteran Hiring and Military Family Support
Chipotle employs more than 800 veterans in its restaurants and Restaurant Support Centers. The company has trained hiring managers on recruiting and retaining veterans, military spouses and partners, including interview practices and resources on how military skills carry over to restaurant jobs. In 2026, Chipotle created the Chipotle Veterans & Allies Network (CVAN), an employee resource group for veterans, active-duty service members and military families.
Since 2021, Chipotle has partnered with Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Chipotle guests and team members have raised more than $2.4 million for the organization.
