The Town of Pegram has announced Dr. Cathy Beck and her husband, Skip Beck, as the Grand Marshals for this year’s Independence Day festivities. The couple will lead the 49th Annual Pegram July 4th Celebration.
Dr. Beck is retiring on June 30, 2025, after serving as Director of Schools for the Cheatham County School District for the past eight years. With over three decades in education, she has been a strong advocate for students, teachers, and families.
Since moving from Colorado to Kingston Springs in 2017, Dr. Beck and her husband have been active members of the local community, contributing through volunteer service on multiple boards and organizations. They share six children and several pets.
The town recognized their commitment to education and community service as key reasons for selecting them to lead this year’s celebration.
