Join Ranger Jake on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, from 6-7 pm for a memorable family-friendly night hike at the Family Lantern Night Hike through the Halloween-themed storybook trail at Gossett Tract at Harpeth River State Park (1230 Cedar Hill Rd, Kingston Springs, TN 37082)!

This hike will be led by battery-operated lanterns as we weave through the wooded trail, reading Harpeth River’s original, “Why are you Scared, Little Pumpkin”.

After the half-mile hike, we will end the night with s’mores and a campfire!

This hike is roughly .5 miles on flat terrain with tripping hazards such as roots and rocks.
Please bring: sturdy hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, an additional flashlight, and water. Also, feel free to bring a camp chair!
