Kingston Springs Elementary School has been named a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education for the 2020-2021 school year.

Reward School status is the top distinction a school can earn in Tennessee.

Reward Schools are those that are improving overall student academic achievement and student growth for all students and for certain student groups.

“We are very proud of our staff and students for their hard work and perseverance through a very difficult year last year,” said KSES principal Dr. Lucas Winstead.

KSES was named a Reward School in 2012, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Tennessee did not name Reward Schools in 2020 since there was no state testing due to the pandemic.
