The Kingston Springs Police Department is proud to announce the addition of its newest Public Safety Officer, Kathy Smith. With an impressive 12 years of law enforcement experience, Officer Smith brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and compassion to the department.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Officer Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science. Beyond the badge, Officer Smith is an avid hiker and traveler, and she cherishes quality time spent with family and friends. Her love for animals shines through in her care for her beloved dogs and her recently adopted horse, a heartfelt rescue following the passing of its previous owner.
“We are excited to welcome Officer Smith, who we feel will be an essential part of our Department and a tremendous asset to the Town of Kingston Springs,” the Town said.
