February 8, 2022 – A woman has died following a two-car crash on Poplar Creek Road Friday where a Honda Accord was impacted by last week’s icy road conditions.
The preliminary investigation shows Samantha Nash, 35, of Kingston Springs, was driving the Accord when it came down a hill sideways and struck a Toyota Tundra that was stopped in the opposite lane.
The driver’s side door of the Accord collided with the front end of the Tundra. The driver of the Tundra was not injured.
Nash was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died on Monday.
