Kristian Dennison, the Secondary Academic Coordinator for the Cheatham County School District was named the 2023-2024 Middle Tennessee Supervisor of the Year by the Tennessee Department of Education.
The announcement was made earlier this month during a ceremony in Nashville. There was one winner from each grand division, meaning Dennison finished in the top three in the state.
Dennison was one of the state finalists for the award after being named the Mid-Cumberland Region Supervisor of the Year.
Dennison has served as the district’s secondary academic coordinator since 2021. She worked as an academic specialist at both Cheatham County Central High School and Harpeth Middle School before joining the Board of Education office.
