Nashville may have grown a lot since 1951, but some things are just too good to change. This August, The Loveless Cafe is inviting the community to turn back the clock and enjoy its original menu at throwback 1951 prices.
Every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy menu favorites, including breakfast and dinner items, as part of Loveless Cafe’s “Prices & Portions of 1951” feature. Running August 13, 20, and 27, this limited-time offering is a nod to the cafe’s roots.
For longtime fans and first-time visitors alike, this is a chance to enjoy classics like Southern fried chicken and country ham ’n’ biscuits, dishes that made the Loveless Cafe a Nashville staple more than 70 years ago.

In addition to celebrating the throwback pricing, the cafe is recognizing National Biscuit Month. The Loveless Cafe, Nashville’s beloved institution for homemade biscuits, preserves, and more for over 70 years, is holding its second annual Biscuit Slider Showdown.
The competition invites home chefs, bakers, and food enthusiasts across the nation to submit their best biscuit slider creations for consideration to be served at the legendary Cafe. Four winners’ masterpieces will be announced on August 25 and will be showcased throughout September. At the end of September, a grand champion will be crowned winner by popular vote and will win free Loveless Cafe biscuits for a year. Learn more here.
