The Cheatham County School District will host its sixth annual “Stuff the Bus” on Friday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Buses will be parked at three locations across Cheatham County for the community to drop off school supplies: Walmart in Ashland City, Dollar General in Kingston Springs and Dollar General Market in Pleasant View.
Supplies can be purchased on this day, which falls on tax-free weekend in Tennessee. Staff members will be on hand to collect the supplies and stuff them on the bus.
The supplies will be given to students who need them for the upcoming school year.
If you are not able to donate on July 28, supplies can be dropped off at the Board of Education office, 102 Elizabeth St. in Ashland City or you can contact Tim Adkins, the district’s communications director, at 615-792-5664 or [email protected] to make other arrangements.
Cash donations are also welcome if you would like to contribute toward the purchase of supplies.
