The evening will spotlight country, folk, bluegrass and Americana music through a mix of live performances and artist interviews.
Laid Back Country Picker, joined by Honey, blends ’70s guitar rock, honky-tonk and country punk. The duo has toured internationally, including opening for Deep Purple, and has appeared at festivals and clubs across the U.S.
Garrett Boys are a family trio from Overton County in East Tennessee. Brothers Stephen and Russell Garrett perform with Stephen’s son, Carter, drawing on Appalachian folk traditions rooted in land that has been in their family for generations.
Bronwyn is a bluegrass musician, solo artist and member of Mile Twelve. She attended Berklee College of Music before relocating to Nashville.
Nashville-based Rodeo Mouth describes its sound as “Acid Americana,” combining alt-country, rock and folk. The band includes songwriter Paul Howard, Emmett Rozelle, Petey Piscitelli and Dany Turcios.
Jim Lauderdale will host the show, with Keith Bilbrey serving as announcer and Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky conducting artist interviews.
Music City Roots began as a live radio show and later became a nationally recognized television series. The program maintains a longstanding partnership with WMOT 89.5 FM.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. concert. Tickets start at $25 and are available at HarkenHall.com.
