A 25-year-old masseuse was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of rape after a woman reported being sexually assaulted during a massage at a Nashville spa.
Keenan Tejada was working at Sensation Day Spa on 8th Avenue South when the alleged assault involving a 29-year-old woman occurred Tuesday afternoon, police said. He is being held on $75,000 bond.
The woman told police she was in fear and shock and unable to move or speak when Tejada allegedly began sexually assaulting her. After leaving the business, she drove to the Sexual Assault Center, where police were contacted.
MNPD Special Victims detectives launched an investigation and attempted to interview Tejada. He initially denied having sex with a massage customer before changing his statement and saying the contact was consensual, police said. He then requested an attorney.
