Alice Carol Boyd, age 82, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Momma Carol was born on March 27th, 1940, in Davidson County, TN, to the late Carl Lee Clement and Ruby Ethel Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Boyd.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Boyd, and Steve Boyd; Brother, Dwain (Sheila) Clement; Sister, Patricia Hudgens and granddaughter, Hillary Boyd.
Everyone that knew Alice, called her “Momma Carol.” She was feisty but loving, and very protective of those she loved. She was a Roll Tide fan, but also a UT VOLS women’s basketball fan. She loved Pat Summit, Patsy Cline and Rod Stewart. Momma Carol worked at three different convenient stores in Ashland City.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 23rd at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald McPherson officiating. Patricia (Sister) will speak as well. Pallbearers will be Donnie Phillips, Gary Norwood, Terry Hudgens, Dom Doyle and Michael Rayburn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, March 23rd, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
