Barbara Ann Knight, age 81, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on June 3, 2023, at Hillcrest Healthcare in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Barbara was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 13, 1943, to the late Asa and Edith Pauline Sadler McClendon.
She was a 1961 graduate of East High School and worked in general labor with Shrader Electronics and Acme.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Knight; brother Harold Edwin McClendon; and son-in-law, Danny Knight.
She is survived by her son, A.G. Knight (Emily); daughters, Patricia Knight and Melissa F. Davidson (Terry); sisters, Frances L. Mackay and Deborah Thompson (Mike); 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Matlock (Bo), Jodi Knight, Jessica Crow (Michael), Ashley Gibson (Jake), Winter Bates, and Wallace Logan Armstrong, 9 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, one in October and one in December.
Funeral service for Barbara will be Friday, June 7, 2023, at 11 am in the Chapel with Brother Kelley LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Friday before the service from 9 am until service hour of 11 am. Serving as active pallbearers will be Steven Crow, Wallace Logan Armstrong, Michael Thompson, Gunner Walker, Bo Matlock, Michael Crow, and Jesse Miller.
