Brenda Lawrence Byrom, age 66 of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 o’clock pm, Friday, February 13th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Pastor Shaun Sutton officiating.
Her remains will be cremated following the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 2:00PM until the hour of service at 6:00PM.
Mrs. Brenda was born on July 17, 1959, to Henry Milan and the late Donie Pilkington Milan. She was a homemaker who enjoyed basketball, dancing, and animals. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Community Church.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Layhew; brother, Donnie Lawrence; and sister, Barbara Read.
In addition to her father she is survived by her son, Josh (Liz) Byrom; daughter, Salena (Shane) Melhorn; brothers, Jerry (Darlene) Milan and Kenneth Milan; and grandchildren, Paige & Shelby Melhorn.
