Brenda Joyce (Pendergraph) Frederick, age 80, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on April 23, 1943, to the late Howard Coulter Pendergraph and Faye (Sisk) Pendergraph.
She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and went onto attend beauty college. After retiring from A.O. Smith, she worked in the Cheatham County Clerk’s office. She will be greatly missed by all who know her, especially her loving children, grandchildren, sister, and devoted friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Faye Pendergraph; husband, Fred Frederick, Sr.; and brother, Forrest Loden Pendergraph.
She is survived by her son, Fred R. Frederick, Jr., (Tatiana); daughter, Ivey Rollings (Jim); sister, Emily Jane Simmons (Ronald J); and grandchildren, Shelby Gough (Tyler), Alex Rollings, and Arianna Frederick; and devoted friends and neighbors, Betsy, Teresa, Vivian, and Renee.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 5 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Barry Raper officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 12 noon until the service hour of 5 pm.
