Early Sunday morning, Aug 30, 2026, my precious husband of 57 years stepped heavenward. This was unexpected. He leaves wife Dian, daughter Jessica who preceded him in death, her husband Philip Morlan, son Samuel, daughter Madelyn (Brandon Branch), their son Sonny (first great grand!), Hannah Joy (Brandon Houser), Gabe (wife Audrey), Isaiah Daniel (wife Elisha). Son Josh Belbeck, his wife Abby, and their children Noah, Emmie D, Daniel, and Nova Grace live with Dan and Dian. Dan also has one remaining sibling, Gene Belbeck, living in Arkansas. All the Belbeck siblings were born in Michigan.
Dan was the very picture of generosity, always giving to bless others. He loved his family with his whole heart. He was a lover of Jesus and His Word.
He worked in sales of one kind or another his whole life, from burial plots to investments. He never met a product he couldn’t sell, all the while convincing the buyer that the product was only and exactly what they needed!
He LOVED God’s Word and loved teaching it to men! He loved laughing, always ready with a quick wit and phrase-not always knowing he was being funny!
Dan was, quite simply, a lover of life-his life here and the life to come! His ready smile and his gift of encouragement endeared him to one and all.
Of all the people I have known I can confidently say that he was met with a “well done, good and faithful servant! Welcome to your reward!”
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Stonebridge Bible Church, 7104 Crossroads Blvd., Suite #105, Brentwood, TN 37064.
In lieu of traditional flowers, the family has requested live plants (perennials) that can be transplanted in memory of Dan.
