Danny Ray Knight, age 63, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, October 23, 2023.
He was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, on March 23, 1960, to the late Maurice A. Knight and Betty (Atkins) Knight.
He was a member of Harvest Fields Baptist Church in Pegram, Tennessee. Danny graduated from David Lipscomb College in Business Management, Economics, and Accounting. He worked for Vanderbilt as a pharmacy billing manager.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Betty Knight.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Knight; daughters, Jessica Crow (Michael) and Ashley Gibson (Jacob); daughter of the heart, Tia Price (Tyler); son of the heart, Johnny “Tojoe” Sewell; brother, R. W. Knight (Pam); 5 grandchildren; and 3 grandchildren of the heart.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11 am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 3 pm to 8 pm and Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9 am until the service hour of 11 am.
