Daron Ray Christy, age 54 of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Daron was born on December 24, 1969 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Larry & Joanne Ray Christy.
He was an electrical engineer and the owner of DRC Engineering. His passion was watching his sons play baseball and was an avid University of Tennessee fan. He was a member of Clarksville Highway Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Greg Christy.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Melissa Christy; sons, Grant & Isaac Christy; niece, Cailyn Christy; and nephew, Zachary Christy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock am, Saturday, October 5th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Greg Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with his two sons, and Jim Smullins, Jimmy Latham, Frank Tejeda, and Shaw Fulton serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 4th from 5:00-8:00 PM, and again on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
