Mr. Devon L. Sober of Ashland City, Tennessee passed away at his home on Friday, April 8, 2022, he was 34 years old.
He was born November 1, 1987 in Williamsport, PA, the son of Edward L. Sober and Mary L. Wertz Sober. Devon was employed with A.O. Smith in Ashland City as a special forces leader on 2nd shift. He attended 24 Church in Pleasantview. He enjoyed making people laugh and enjoyed sports. Devon was known as a person who was good at learning new skills quickly and was the true definition of a family man.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Edward L and Mary L. Sober of Ashland City; his wife Darcy D. Eastling Sober of Ashland City; his children McKenzie Sober, Stephanie Sober, and Mallory Sober. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Wertz of Gallatin, TN, and a nephew J.D. Sober of Ashland City. He is preceded in death by sisters Shannon Sober and Tandra Sober.
Funeral services for Devon will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Cemetery in Ashland City.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of the family.
