Edith Faye Traughber, age 75, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center.
Mrs. Traughber was born on October 5, 1948, in Madison, Tennessee, to the late Delmar “Red” & Thelma Davidson Ford.
She was a retired fraud investigator with Cigna Medicare. She was baptized in March 2020 at Living Hope in Clarksville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Jannette Wallace.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry Traughber; son, Terry (Angela) Boyd; step-daughters, Sherri (Jimmy) Allen, Dianne (Mark) Drye, and Lynnette (Mark) Berry; sister, Vonda (Tab) Beazley; step-grandchildren, Dustin (Alaina) Wallace, Shawn Traughber, Joshua (Taylor) Allen, Zachary (Frances) Allen, Logan Berry, and Chance Nash; and 7 step-great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 29th, with Pastor Corbin Madden officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery with Chance Nash, Shawn Traughber, Logan Berry, Kent Nash, Aaron Beazley, and Clay Beazley serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
