Edna Elaine Hiland, age 72, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at HillCrest Health Care Center in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Elaine was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 19, 1950, to the late Frank Raymond Powell and Elizabeth (Byrd) Powell.
She was a retired cashier for the Greyhound Bus Station, Dailys and Mapco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Jimmy, Frank and Gary Powell; sisters, Lois Wren and Beverly Brewer; and companion, Lawrence Paul “Noodles” Hiland.
She is survived by her two sisters, Martha Dorang and Debbie Ellington and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.
Her wishes were for cremation and no services are planned.
