Elizabeth Sue Knight, age 71 of Cheatham County passed away on February 11, 2022 at Tri Star Centennial Hospital.
“Sue” was born on May 21, 1950 in Nashville to William Houston Curtis, Sr., and Tillie Sue Carney Walker.
She worked as a School Assistant with the Cheatham County School System where she retired. Mrs. Knight was a life long resident in Cheatham County. She was married to Mr. Ronald Knight.
Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers William Curtis, Jr. and Ray Curtis as well as one sister Joyce Becker.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Ronald Knight, one son Cody(Amy) Knight of Madison, and daughter Candy(Johnny) Taylor of Guthrie, Ky.
Sue is also survived by sisters Lois(Barney) Rush, Nancy Hill, Trina(Kelly) Kirkham, and Brenda Hutchinson. Her grandchildren are Kimberly(Johnathon) Baisden, and Issac(Jon) Rigsby. Mrs. Knight is also survived by great-grandchildren Chloe, Zoee, Kelly, and Jenson as well as 19 nieces and nephews.
The Family of Mrs. Knight will receive guests in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. The Funeral will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home. There will be visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Battle Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Hosé, Johnathon Hosé, Tim White, William Braddy, Wesley Braddy, and Roy Biggs, Jr.
Services are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City.
