Eva Jean Walker Farmer, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 89.

Born on December 31, 1934, in Cheatham County, Tennessee, she was a radiant source of love and strength throughout her life.

Eva Jean dedicated herself to her family, raising her two sons, Harry Farmer Jr. and Anthony Farmer, while lovingly caring for her late husband, Harry Farmer. Known for her unwavering support and nurturing spirit, she created a warm and loving home. A savvy investor, Eva Jean expertly managed her finances to ensure her family’s security. She was also an avid collector and a devoted volunteer in her community.

She is survived by her brother, James Murriel Walker; her sons, Harry and Anthony; her six grandchildren—Brenna Jean, Kirsten, Andrew, William, Matthew, and Lucien—and her 11 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Family gatherings were filled with laughter and love as she reveled in watching the children play.

Eva Jean devoted 47 years to volunteering at the Valley Memorial Auxiliary Thrift Shop, where she formed lasting connections and positively impacted her community. Her compassion and willingness to help others were evident as she organized events to bring people together.

Memorial service will be Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 11 am until the service hour of 12 noon.
