Faye Chambliss Jones, age 86 of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home.
Mrs. Jones was born on April 20, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Jimmy & Estelle Chambliss.
She was a retired clerk with the State of Tennessee. She enjoyed wildflowers and reading her Bible. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Reba (Mike) Barker, Ricky Jones, Patti Harris, Paula (Edd) Suiter, Pam (Jeff) Chandler, and Randy Jones; loving brother, Bruce (Brenda) Chambliss; grandchildren, Kyle (Samantha) Ellis, Landon (Lanae) Jones, Hailey (Chance) Weatherford, Paige (fianceꞌ Evan) Harris, Morgan (Victor) O’Connell, Chase Suiter, Jordan (Michaela) Chandler, Jake Chandler, Jarrod (Jessie) Chandler, Julia Chandler, Camden Jones, and Lake Jones; great-grandchildren, SaylaCruz Jones, Gabrielle Jones, Blakely Paige Weatherford, Brooklyn Weatherford, Lilly Harman, Emma Jane O’Connell, Ella Faye O’Connell, and Oliver Patrick Chandler; and a special friend, Joe Dearry.
Funeral services will be conducted at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 7th, with Bro. Corey Minter and Bro. Tom Malone officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with Kyle Ellis, Landon Jones, Chase Suiter, Jordan Chandler, Jake Chandler, Jarrod Chandler, Camden Jones, and Lake Jones serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at 3:00 PM.
