Faye Yvonne Bracey Davis passed away at home on Friday, April 5, 2024.

She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on October 31, 1938, graduated in 1957 from Cheatham County High School, and was a successful businesswoman and partner at Jackson, Denney, and Davis Insurance until retirement.

During her high school years, she was voted Most Beautiful and crowned as the Cheatham County Centennial Queen in 1956. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church and a founding member of the Cheatham County Lions Club. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society when she was not surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by husband of 34 years, Talton Davis; son Tommy Newman; parents, Felix and Lula Myrtle Bracey; sisters, Camilla Rediker, Jean Oakley; and brother, Wayne Bracey.

Survived by daughter, Dana (Stanley) Woodall; grandchildren, Molly Posey, Jenna Newman, Emma Woodall, and Eli Woodall. Great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, and Bonnie. Sisters and forever best friends, Betty Simmons and Carolyn Wyatt.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Stanley Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 10 am until the service hour of 1 pm. Family will serve as pallbearers.
