OBITUARY: Gerry Frank Knox

Gerry “Frank” Knox, age 64, passed away on October 12, 2026. Frank was preceded in death by his Father; John Richard Knox, and his Brother; Rick Knox. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Mother; Patricia Ann Knox, his Loving Wife; Christina Knox, his Son; Gerry Knox (Meghan), his daughters; Bethany Bender (Scott), Courtney Sparks (Talmadge), and Carole (C.J.) Knox. Frank is also survived by his beautiful Grandchildren; Kameron, Jace, Asher, Baby Z, Little Talmadge, Finn, Raelyn, and Amelia, his sisters; Patricia Lynne Knox, and Michelle Reane Edgin, and countless nieces and nephews.

Gerry “Frank” Knox was a kind, passionate, and giving man. He valued his family more than anything and was the best father and grandfather you could ask for. He had a long, happy marriage to the love of his life for almost 27 years, always treating his step daughters as if they were his own. His world revolved around his grandbabies and they loved him dearly. He was born and raised in Ashland City, where he spent his life hunting and fishing the lands and waters of Cheatham County. He was a man of nature, feeling more at home outdoors than in. He always found joy in the simple details of life, often noticing beauty where others failed to see them.

Frank loved spending time with his many friends, especially while playing disc golf with them. He was loved by so many people and will be missed more than words can express. We will always love you, Frankie.

According to Frank’s wishes, Cremation has been selected, and a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
