Grace Walker Albright, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Nashville Rehabilitation and Healing, in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born in McMinnville, Tennessee, on August 17, 1935, to the late John and Jessie Lou (Hill) Walker and stepmother Johnnie Mason Walker.
Grace was a member of Ashland City Church of Christ, received a Bachelor’s Degree from David Lipscomb University and completed graduate work at Trevecca Nazarene University. She retired from the Cheatham County School District after serving 30 years as a Home Economics and Biology teacher at Cheatham County Central High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bobby Albright.
She is survived by her sons, John G. Albright and David H. Albright (Donna); daughters, Mary Albright Pyron (Michael), and Martha Albright Moore; grandsons, Jonathan C. Albright, Matthew G. Albright, Daniel E. Albright, Mark T. Albright, Lucas S. Pyron (Hannah), Michael D. Albright, granddaughter, Sarah C. Albright, great-grandson Liam D. Pyron, and honorary sister Doris Marie Sanders.
Visitation will be held at the Cheatham County Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4-7 pm and Thursday afternoon from 2-4 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 pm at the funeral home.
