Ivelene “Ivy” Livingston, age 78, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026.
Ivelene was born on March 15, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late George and Mary Thomas. She grew up in a loving family and was known for her kind heart and generous spirit.
Ivy was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Johnson and Kim Ellis, and her four grandchildren, Emily, Noah, Sophie, and Jacob.
Throughout her life, Ivy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and volunteering in her community. Her infectious laughter and positive attitude made her a beloved figure among friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on February 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on February 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association in Ivy’s honor.
