James Walter Ashbrook, 95 years old, of Ashland City, TN, passed away December 10, 2025, at Hillcrest Healthcare.
James was born August 9, 1930, in Rockwood, TN, to the late Walter and Lou (Kirkland) Ashworth.
He was a good natured man. He was loving and loyal. He was easy going with a humorous demeanor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He was very helpful to all and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his nephews and nieces, Ray Morlock, Dennis Morlock, and Jason Morlock, Lisa Ashbrook, and Sandy Roberts; close friends, David Bradshaw and Ronnie Bradshaw; and other surviving relatives.
A Graveside service will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pond Grove, TN, at 2:00 E.T.
